Filming

I finished filming my film! It was a bit of a challenge since my actors have never acted before, but it was very fun to film. My friend was going to do it, who I have been working with as a fellow actress for awhile, but she was unavailable. It was also my first time working a camera, so the camera work was a little sloppy. There are some things that aren't exactly clear in my film. For example, in one scene the reflection of me filming is in the mirror, and even though that was an accident it actually makes sense since the film is based off a boy with mental problems that have not been explained to the audience yet. In the beginning shot there were loud ambient sounds in the background, which included cars and people chatting. This shows that his mind it cluttered and shows that he has problems. Overall the filming went relatively well and I was able to get everything done that I wanted, and was able to do my whole script. The one thing though is that originally my subject was a girl, but since I could only get a guy to do it, I had to use my friend Emilio. Everything worked out in the end, though!
